Osman Bey removes Orhan Bey from command of the Bursa siege, appointing Şahinşah in his place. Shocked and heartbroken, Orhan accepts his father’s decision, surrendering his sword. The tension strains his bond with Alaeddin. Believing Orhan was wronged, Nilüfer Hatun challenges the council’s ruling, igniting conflict among the women. Malhun Hatun’s anger further deepens the divide. Meanwhile, Flavius seeks vengeance, and Orhan risks everything to rescue Boran from Bursa, leading to a deadly confrontation. As Ilkhanid governor Temurtaş Noyan arrives, plotting with Saroz and manipulating Şahinşah and Alaeddin, Osman Bey’s illness worsens. Surrounded by Byzantines, the Ilkhanids, and inner strife, Orhan Bey must fight to fulfill his father’s dream of conquering Bursa.

Orhan Bey, determined to end the dual leadership in Kayı, finds himself tested by both his father and his brother. His greatest support is Nilüfer Hatun; however, their journey through the forest is cut short by an ambush. Kan Turalı and Abdurrahman arrive just in time and change the course of events. Wanting to resolve the crisis that has trapped the beylik, Orhan Bey goes to meet Temurtaş even if it means opposing his own brother and promises to stop Alaeddin and Şahinşah. Meanwhile, Flavius, burning with revenge, sets a new plan into motion in Söğüt and once again comes face to face with Fatma Hatun. Although he wants to strike, he hesitates for fear of harming her. Temurtaş launches a brutal massacre in Yarhisar, shaking the entire Kayı tribe. Malhun Hatun warns Alaeddin that while the enemy waits for a chance to attack, a conflict between brothers will destroy the tribe from within. Amidst all these crises, the tension between Orhan and Alaeddin escalates; when Orhan refuses the order to go to Karacahisar, the two brothers end up fighting fist-to-fist in the middle of the tribe. Following this, Alaeddin decides to exile Orhan. The balance of power in Kayı shifts completely.

With Orhan Bey taking over the post, the balance within the tribe appears to be restored, but some stones will inevitably shift. Will this new era satisfy everyone? Although Şahinşah Bey bows to Orhan Bey along with the other beys and kisses his hand, he cannot accept being removed from command. A seed of anger grows within him. What steps will Şahinşah Bey take to hinder Orhan Bey? Seeking to strengthen his authority, Orhan Bey sets his sights on Yarhisar. Together with Abdurrahman and Kan Turalı, he devises a plan to reclaim Yarhisar and settle the score for the martyrs. Will Orhan Bey pass his first major test after assuming the post? After the collapse of the Bursa tunnel, Flavius has almost no chance of retreat. With no choice but to advance with his sword, he learns about Orhan Bey’s sword-girding ceremony and plots an assassination against Osman Bey. Where will he strike this deadly blow? Once the obstacles within the tribe are cleared, Orhan Bey turns toward his greater targets. After tightening the grip around Bursa, he sends his first clear warning to İznik. The firm and unyielding stance he displays against the Tekfur of İznik may open new doors in this new era.

Orhan Bey makes a major humanitarian move aimed at winning the hearts of the people for the conquest of Bursa. However, this action prompts the Byzantine Emperor, Flavius, and the Governor of İznik to prepare a counter-plan. Meanwhile in Söğüt, a mysterious enemy known only by a symbol emerges, and Orhan Bey begins to track this dark force. Flavius’s confrontation with Fatma Hatun creates a dangerous closeness, while new suitors arriving for Fatma and Halime spark fresh rivalry in the oba. Şahinşah’s proposal on behalf of Yiğit causes tension between Malhun and Nilüfer. Before meeting with the Emperor, Orhan Bey assigns Şahinşah and Alaeddin to keep Temurtaş under control; but whether Temurtaş will accept the offer and whether Şahinşah has a hidden agenda—remains uncertain. Finally, the Emperor’s arrival from Constantinople, along with a mysterious woman he brings with him, ushers in a new era that will upend all balances in the Kayı tribe.
