Episode 1

"You once said, if only another world were possible. Remember…" Azil Kaptan, a sea captain from the Black Sea, cannot turn a blind eye to illegal activity on his ship while returning to his hometown Rize after a long voyage—and in doing so, he gains a dangerous enemy. Meanwhile, in Istanbul, Mehmet Maçari, heir of the Rizeli Maçari family, is released from prison. Mehmet stands on the brink of making important decisions, both for the woman he loves and for his family. While in Rize on business, Güneş Aydınay meets Azil Kaptan, who saves her by chance from a difficult situation. In the brief time they spend together, Azil and Güneş listen to each other’s pasts, unaware that their futures will also be shaped by this encounter. With Osman Maçari finally revealing the secret he has kept hidden for years, the Maçari family—bound together by invisible ties—steps onto a path of no return.

Episode 2

The enemy he faces inflicts one of the greatest pains of Azil’s life. To make them pay for this suffering, Azil sets out on a journey to Istanbul with his foster brother Dursun. Osman Maçari, who has long yearned for his son Azil, does not leave him alone in this fight. For the first time, the men of the Maçari family unite against the family’s and Azil’s arch-enemy, Havva Kırkayvaz. Mehmet fears that Azil’s return home will shake his own standing within the family. At the same time, under the pressure of Havva and Hidayet, he finds himself trapped in an ever-tightening circle. Dursun, sworn to avenge his mother, is driven by rage onto a path of no return. While trying to protect Dursun, Azil ends up in a jail cell—only to be rescued by lawyer Güneş. Meanwhile, conversations in the council about Mehmet spark Osman Maçari’s suspicions, prompting Mehmet to start scheming to conceal his betrayal. Aware of Güneş’s hesitation about marriage, Nermin keeps pressing her from every direction. All the preparations for Güneş and Mehmet’s wedding are complete, and the signing of the papers is just moments away. Waiting with hope until the very last second, Azil leaves the mansion for good when Güneş says “Yes.” Suspecting that Mehmet has been scheming behind his back, Osman eventually learns the truth about his son and disowns him from the family. Unable to bear the stress any longer, his body finally gives out, putting his life in danger. While the family is left helplessly waiting in shock over Osman’s critical condition, Güneş is filled with deep disappointment toward Azil for keeping the truth from her. As Osman listens to each of them separately and prepares to make his decision, both Güneş and Azil are once again forced to confront the impossibility of their love. Cast out from the family, Mehmet becomes the target of his enemies. Desperate to plan his next move, he now lives under constant threat of assassination. Unable to bear the tension—especially her aunt’s cutting remarks—Güneş decides to leave the city for a few days on a business trip. After Güneş’s accident, the entire family gathers in Rize. The fact that Güneş’s life is in danger once again drives Mehmet and Azil into a fierce confrontation. When Osman learns that Mehmet was responsible for the accident, he warns him once more to stay away from the family. Separated from both his family and Güneş, Mehmet grows increasingly ambitious and seeks Nermin’s help to exact revenge on everyone. Meanwhile, torn between Ayla’s threats and her own anger toward Güneş, Nermin becomes increasingly volatile and is forced to make certain promises to help her son. Now leading the family, Azil makes a decision that brings everyone to a major crossroads. As Güneş and Azil’s love is shaken by this decision, the two find themselves facing their greatest test yet.

Episode 8

While reflecting on his situation after Mehmet’s threats, Azil tries not to let his tension show around Güneş. He begins to consider all the possible outcomes if Mehmet were to hand the family’s secrets over to the police. Waiting anxiously for the day of the trial, Güneş fears that Mehmet might change his mind at any moment. Meanwhile, as she notices Aslı’s growing interest in Azil, Güneş once again suppresses her feelings and is forced into silence, unable to claim the man she loves. While still haunted by the fear of death, Mehmet also faces a devastating truth, it was his own father who ordered his execution. Realizing once again that he will never truly be part of the Maçari family, Mehmet sets his sights on strengthening his position in the underworld with a far more ruthless plan. After declaring their love and leaving the house, Güneş and Azil step into a dream they never even dared to imagine. Their departure hits the Maçari mansion like a bomb. Seeing both of his sons slipping away, Osman watches Azil’s determined stance and is forced to confront his own past once again. What Aslı learns about Azil’s past pushes her to form an alliance with Mehmet. Sado is severely injured in the ambush set for Azil and Mehmet; Azil brings him back to life by giving his own blood, strengthening the bond between them even more. Osman discovers evidence indicating that the “Council” is behind the attack, while the disappearance of the hitman Azil interrogated raises major questions. Güneş feels torn about whether or not to tell Azil about Mercan’s letter; meanwhile, the medical report required for the marriage both brings the couple closer and increases the pressure on them. The growing warmth between Dursun and Fatoş turns into a sweet excitement due to Dursun’s shyness. Azil, shaken by the truth he learned, left Güneş standing on the shore in her wedding dress. No matter how much he loves her, he did not show up to their own wedding. Unable to accept that Güneş hid such an important truth from him, he walked away. Deeply hurt that Azil blamed her for something he had only learned two days earlier, the truth about his mother’s suicide, Güneş decides to leave for Istanbul. Dursun and Fatoş try to bring the two back together and arrange a dinner, but the meeting leads nowhere. Azil refuses to take a single step back. Feeling betrayed by his grandmother, his father, and Güneş, Azil cuts them all out of his life and accepts a special assignment offered by the police. He begins hunting down Igor. Mehmet is thrilled by this development and seizes the opportunity to get closer to Güneş. Fetiye, who revealed Ali Kemal’s plans to Osman Maçari, is rejected by her brother and decides to stay at the Maçari mansion for a while. Unable to cope with everything that has happened, their grandmother suffers a heart attack. Upon hearing the news, Güneş rushes to the hospital to offer support. Meanwhile, Havva continues to lash out at Sado. Determined to take revenge on Nermin, she goes to the Maçari mansion to reveal the truth, but at that very moment, it is revealed that the baby Peri is carrying belongs to Mehmet.

Episode 14

After successfully completing the dangerous delivery at sea, Azil strengthens the trust between him and Ertuğrul; however, he continues to feel uneasy since he still doesn’t know whether Güneş went to Istanbul or not. Meanwhile, Güneş decides not to go to Istanbul after Haki stops her at the airport and stays in Rize, where she begins to breathe again while spending time with the children. When Azil learns from Fatoş that Güneş didn’t leave, he immediately goes to her; for the first time, the two find the courage to openly talk about the hurt in their hearts and the misunderstandings between them. Güneş tells Azil that she is still in love with him but that her trust has been shaken, suggesting that they give their relationship some time. Azil, on the other hand, makes it clear without hiding his feelings that he will fight to stay in Güneş’s life.

Episode 15

Azil and Güneş try to repair their wounded relationship, yet the shadow of unresolved resentments keeps resurfacing at every turn. Meanwhile, an ambush set up to kill Azil is disrupted by an unidentified person, signaling the presence of a new and unknown threat. As tensions flare within the family, the confrontation between Mehmet and Peri causes major upheaval, and Peri’s harsh outburst at the Maçari mansion completely upends the balance of power. Episode 16

Azil and Güneş’s car breaking down on the road leads to the revelation of a shocking truth about the death of Güneş’s family; the mechanic says that the accident was actually a premeditated murder. While Güneş is devastated by the possibility that her family may have been deliberately killed, Azil decides to join her in pursuing the truth. At the same time, Osman accidentally shoots his own son Mehmet during a clash that erupts as he tries to prevent an ambush set for Azil. As Mehmet clings to life with critical injuries, Osman is crushed by overwhelming guilt. When Nermin learns at the hospital that Mehmet has been shot, and then discovers the truth, she begins to harbor an irreversible rage toward Osman. As the family is shattered by the fact that Osman “shot his own son,” the balance at home is completely overturned. Meanwhile, Azil learns both that the people behind the assassination attempt on him are Mehmet and Ziya, and he begins to consider staying away from Güneş in order to protect her.
