The series centers around Zoey Brooks as she enrolls in Pacific Coast Academy, a prestigious Southern California boarding school that previously only allowed boys to attend. Throughout the series, Zoey and her new friends navigate life as teenagers. As the series progresses, the group of friends grow closer together; some are platonic, while others not so much.

"The Silver Hammer Society"

Zoey, Michael, and Lola are invited into a secret society at PCA called the Silver Hammer Society. Chase is also invited to join, but he rejects the offer. To keep their position, the rest of the group must complete ridiculous tasks. Logan, who is angry that he wasn't invited, starts to make his own club, the Loganites. Meanwhile, Quinn acts weird around new girl Sara when she suspects she knew Quinn from a while back. Soon, Sara finds out that she knew Quinn from a beauty pageant she was in as a child.
