In the 1970s, a young feminist from Los Angeles joins forces with a shady adult entertainment publisher to create the first women's erotic magazine. Through this unlikely alliance the characters discover meaningful relationships in the most unusual places.

"Relaying news of a wayward snake"

While Doug and Joyce work to placate the Mob, the Minx team scrambles to live up to their leader's overly ambitious vision.

"Oh, so you're the sun now? You're the giver of life?"

Joyce enjoys the spotlight as a guest on an iconic TV talk show while fighting against memories of her time in New York. Doug makes moves for Minx. Back home, Bambi and Richie discover Tina's secret.

"A scintillating conversation about a lethal pesticide"

While Joyce takes it easy in New York, things back at Bottom Dollar only get harder for Doug, whose vision for Minx clashes with everything Joyce's magazine stood for. Bambi helps Shelly get in touch with her sexuality.
