Sara Sampaio will star in ‘Superman: Legacy’

Sara Sampaio will star as Eve Teschmacher in "Superman: Legacy".

Characters are created by Richard Donner and Mario Puzo is portrayed in the comics as Lex Luthor’s assistant turned love interest and right hand. 

Portraying Luthor is Nicholas Hoult. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan star as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane. Also in the ensemble are Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer.

Superman: Legacy follows Superman as he looks to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

Gunn also penned the script, drawing on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

DC Studios co-boss Peter Safran produces the pic slated for release on July 11, 2025.
