Leighton Meester will star in new movie "The Weekend Away"!

Based on Sarah Alderson‘s novel of the same name, the movie stars Leighton Meester as Beth, a woman on vacation in Croatia who gets accused of killing her best friend (Christina Wolfe). While trying desperately to prove her innocence in her best friend’s death, Beth’s attempts to uncover the truth cause her to discover a painful secret.

The cast also includes Luke Norris, Amar Bukvic, and Ziad Bakri.

The Weekend Away premieres on March 3, 2022 on Netflix.
